Hi there blogosphere I’m Brian’s wife~! Don’t worry Brian will be returning soon, we’ve just been very busy offline recently after moving to our new home and things have been a bit difficult.
Why am I guest posting? I don’t know why … but now there’s a lovely little category called “Loretta” that Brian can use to talk about me and how wonderful I am *hint hint*
Just so my guest post is not totally wasted, I’ve added a picture to the post! ta-da, all done. I hope this “update” pleases certain people since there were recent complaints aired here in the comments section that the blog had not been updated in such a long time…oh my goodness I can’t believe a month of life has gone by and someone had the audacity to not update their blog…. they must be crazy! How about just busy? Or sick? Or out of town? I’m sure the thought never occurred to some.

Which made me wonder have we become such and impatient race that common courtesy has gone out the driver side window in a verbal discharge of vulgarity. Isn’t it any wonder why the traffic report is so long. So the next time you’re out and about take your time and be polite to your fellow drivers, because you never know who may be in the car next to you.

Now that it is at over $3.00 a gallon I have to start to wonder … Why? It still baffles me that we have a replenishing fuel source right here in the heart land of the United States but yet we continue to drain the earth of it’s fossil fuels and polluting our air, not to mention drain my wallet. I am officially on the green bandwagon, if only sadly I could afford it. Till another time enjoy life as it comes cause you never know when it may stop coming.

http://othersideofthedoor.com/2007/05/14/the-beginning-of-the-trip/#commentsMon, 14 May 2007 21:53:13 +0000Brianhttp://othersideofthedoor.com/2007/05/14/the-beginning-of-the-trip/As I sit at work listening to my iPod, I have noticed that certain songs take me back to a time in my life. Whether that moment is a childhood moment when I was just learning how cruel the world could be, to the hazy teenage years where I knew it all and my parents didn’t know anything, and all the way till now when I realize that my parents were right. I started composing the soundtrack of my life, and I came to the conclusion that there is a phrase in one particular Grateful Dead song named Truckin that rings very true for my entire life. “What a long strange trip it’s been”. This is my blog where I will be writing my thoughts and stories (fictional or factional) as I venture forth through this crazy world. I hope you enjoy and visit often.
