Just when you thought it was safe to get back into the van.

Jun 15 2007

Driving home from work today I was cut off 3 times and nearly rear ended another time. Which made me wonder have we become such and impatient race that common courtesy has gone out the driver side window in a verbal discharge of vulgarity. Isn’t it any wonder why the traffic report is so long. So the next time you’re out and about take your time and be polite to your fellow drivers, because you never know who may be in the car next to you.

I agree whole heartedly! We recently moved from Chicago to Dallas and the drivers here, for the most part, are insane! And they wonder why Texas has the most expensive auto insurance premiums?! They all drive a minimum of 20 miles over the speed limit, tailgate, and dodge in and out of lanes. And this is in a residential zone! I can’t even describe how they drive on the highway, it’s so scary! Good thing I’m a home body, I’ll just be content to stay home and sew! Lord help me when I have to go out and buy fabric!
