The beginning of the Trip.

May 14 2007

As I sit at work listening to my iPod, I have noticed that certain songs take me back to a time in my life. Whether that moment is a childhood moment when I was just learning how cruel the world could be, to the hazy teenage years where I knew it all and my parents didn’t know anything, and all the way till now when I realize that my parents were right. I started composing the soundtrack of my life, and I came to the conclusion that there is a phrase in one particular Grateful Dead song named Truckin that rings very true for my entire life. “What a long strange trip it’s been”. This is my blog where I will be writing my thoughts and stories (fictional or factional) as I venture forth through this crazy world. I hope you enjoy and visit often.

Great thoughts. My kids, age 26 and 21, are realizing it also. It’s nice when ya’ll grow up and we can be friends!

When I listen to music it brings up a lot of memories. I think it’s one of my character flaws.
